Without prior OOC consent, I will never have Cosmo read any character's thoughts! That being said, I know telepathy isn't for everybody. If you'd rather not deal with the subject at all, feel free to leave me a comment here. ALSO... yeah, Cosmo is dog. Feel free to opt out entirely if you'd rather not play with him at all. I promise it's nbd, and comments are screened.

Choose an option:

[1] Opt out of this character entirely. (I won't tag you at all!)

[2] Opt out of only his mind-reading abilities. (Cosmo can still talk to your character, but can't detect your character's thoughts. Choose this option if mind-reading is just not your cup of tea and Cosmo will stay out of your character's head, no questions asked!)

[3] Opt out of all of his telepathic abilities. (Cosmo cannot talk to your character or read their thoughts. He is for all intents and purposes just a really smart dog who can move things with his mind/read/write with a telekinetic pencil if necessary. Listen, he doesn't have thumbs, and unless your character can actively dampen Cosmo's abilities, he's still going to rely on his telekinesis.)

[4] Other. Am I forgetting something?

pawsmonaut: (telepathic beatdowns)
the long version: Cosmo on the Marvel Wiki!

the short version:
-Russian space dog, landed on a space station at the end of the universe (Knowhere), where he serves as the head of security. Pals with the Guardians of the Galaxy and Nova.
-Gifted telepath. First and foremost, he can talk to you in your head. Other powers include telekinesis and telepathy (such as cloaking, shields, illusions, mind reading, mind control, mental paralysis, mental amnesia, mental sedation, psionic blasts, and the ability to detect other superhumans.)
-His longevity is also worth noting. He's been alive since the 1960s or 70s. He doesn't have any memories of that time, really, so his age is unknown.

in the MCU:
-We saw Cosmo in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie! He was in a display case in The Collector's menagerie, growling at passing raccoons. As one does. He escaped the destruction of Tivan's collection and was also in the post-credit scene. It's unclear as to whether or not he has any powers, but I'm certainly down with mashing things up and playing him in the MCU.
